Review:
When the Wizard's Chancellor chooses the Wizard Derk things go nuts. For him, his family, the off-world tourists who destroy their world, and everyone else. First Derk has to destroy his carefully created home, the neighboring village. But when he has a mishap with a dragon, things go from bad to worse. His children, 2 human and the other five griffin, take over. Can this poor family, full of flying pigs and intelligent geese, save their planet and their family not to mention their lives from Mr. Chesney and his Pilgrim Parties??
This book was positively wonderful. Like most books I read, I was highly suspicious of how it would read, but it turned out to be everything I wanted and more. LMAO sorta humor with absolutly astounding fixes, and even more astounding ways out of them, and the wide assortment of curious (not to mentiong impossible) creatures (invisible cats? Flying pigs? Smart geese?? *l*) gives ever more reason to read it over. Ms. Jones has a style that will drag the most fantasy-hating readers into her books, and leave you wishing for a sequel.
