Review: After four years of training at the healds Collegium, Talia had finally
earned the full rank of Herald. yet while for her is is a dream come true it
means being put into more danger and trials then the ones in her past. For now
Tali has over a year of field training with a senior Herald out in Valdemar
and its realms.
The realms are a dangerous place for anyone. For Talia and her mentor Kris must not only battle the weather, villages with fever and go under stress to give proper judgement, they must also deal with Talia's own daemon. For her powers begin to lose control and if she were to misuse her powers it would prove right to certain members of the Queens Council at home that she is a danger to the land. If Talia doesn't control her powers with the help of Rolan her companion and her mentor Kris the consequences for her and Valdemar will be severe..... I really enjoyed this book. Very well written an attention grabber from the first page- I give top rating for this book!
