Review: The heir to the throne Elspeth comes to marriageable age, And Talia
the "Queens Own" returns to Court to find the Queen and Heir being pulled by
diplomatics to try and arrange Elspeth's future by a marriage proposal. Now a Heald Trainee she doesn't want to be forced into the marriage and turns to Talia for help.
Talia is about to uncover who has been playing a part in putting the wheel in motion in the Court as the one controlling and being a possible spy when the Queen sends Talia off to the neighboring kingdom to see if the marriage proposal is worth sending her daughter into. Prince Ancar Talia finds to be a terror beyond the thoughts of the Court. To her own dismay there is more going on with the Prince then to hopefully marry Elspeth. Ancar turns out to be a Mage and someone from both Elspeths and Talia's past is coaching him. A magic so different to the Heralds it was thought long gone when the last Herald-mage died in the long forgotten past. It is then up to Talia to warn the Queen of the danger that could destroy all that was fought for from the beginning... I love this story and it is very well done...
