Review:
This is the fourth of five in a series by Lloyd Alexander. This one focuses solely on the adventures of Taran as he seeks for his past, and his parents. Accompanied by Gurgi and Mlynlas, he finds the three witches of the Marshes od Morva. They tell him to seek the Mirror of Llunet. As he travels, he comes to respect and admire the common people of Prydian as much as he wishes to be noble born. Through his adventures and missadventures he becomes a wiser person.
I've always enjoyed the Prydian chronicles. While my favorite is without a doubt the Book of Three, this one is still a most wonderful rainy afternoon read.
