Synopsis:As you can guess from the title, the book is about The Thief. Indeed it is,
he's called Gen. This Gen is still young, at least around his twenties or less. As you start
reading the book you will notice that Gen is trying to steal something but get's caught and is thrown in jail. While you read that scene it's kind of funny to read how he got caught. But anyway, back to the summary. After spending many months in jail, the King's Magus comes and asks the guards to take him out. As Gen comes outside he gets inspected by the Magus. After getting all cleaned up by 2 guys, they set out to travel a great distance. On their journey Gen is told that he is needed to steal some big thing inside a maze cave which is
open only once or twice a year. I'm not going to tell you too much of the story - otherwise you won't have to read it. Review:I though the book had a lot of humour in it, which I enjoy and you can actually learn something if you're ever in that kind of situation, which I hope never happens. The story is very well written and you get to see how different characters work with each other in different situations and just among each other. You can sometimes laugh about it. If you like humour and adventure then this is the book for you! Also if you liked this book a lot, the author has written another book, called "The Queen of Attolia" which is a sequel to "The Thief" Enjoy!
