Review:
Cara is a young girl living with her grandmother after the death of her mother and the mysterious disappearance of her father. After being given some strange instructions and an amulet, at the chime of midnight, she jumped off the church tower saying "Luster bring me home". And found her self in a very strange new world.
A world of magic, enchantment and mystical creatures beyond her woldest dreams. After she is attacked and injured by a creature, a manbear carries her into his cave and cares for her. Lightfoot, a unicorn, came to her soonafter and healed all her woulds. He soon became a friend and confidant to Cara's quest to find the Old One and give her a message from her grandmother. Cara begins a quest across the Land of Luster with her three new friends; The Dimblethumb (the manbear); the Unicorn and the Squijum. Her quest will lead her along many trails and to her destiny. But what happens on the quest? Of course, you have to read the book to find out. I give this one Two Claws or Horns, way up.
