Synopsis: Corda has had a plane accident and barely survived. Call it luck, or destiny but after he crashed he found El Dorado, the lost city of gold. He bring a few artifacts back home and then leaves one more time, to build his a golden home for his wife. But he doesn’t return. Indiana finds out about the gold and is forced to trace Corda.

Review: Indiana finds out that his colleague is missing at the university and wants to help Marian to find her husband. His search just started when some men follow Indiana. They are also after Marian, and her husband’s secret. The new university director won't let Indiana go on yet another new adventure - the professor has already missed too many classes. And then the F.B.I. also goes after Corda. They show a perfectly made golden beetle, something Corda has sold. It seems that the people who bought the golden objects fell ill, to a strange decease.

Indiana sets off to find Corda’s trail, but without much luck. The feds are keeping an eye on him, and there are also other men in suits following him. They how ever seem to shoot first and then ask questions. Indiana decides to help the feds in their investigation and ends up in the hands of the local Mafia, who got his friend Brody and Marian captive. They want to know where Corda is, which Indiana is unable to tell them. Indiana has a few days to find Corda and report back before his friends start dying. Indiana manages to get himself in an even bigger mess when the feds get in the building and the Mafia leader Ramos has to escape with his prisoners. Indiana manages to stay clear from the mafia, to find him self on the feds team. Who form up a small search party and set off to go to Trinidad, hoping to find the trail that will lead them to Ramos and eventually Corda.

Here you have a typical Indiana Jones adventure, where we wonder if Indiana might survive at all. Here you have a mix of the myth of El Dorado, the start of the nuclear era, the F.B.I. and Ramos and his gang. Mixed it seems to be like and adventure all the way, in search of gold, a lost husband, and change to stay alive to see the outcome. Read the book and find out all about the myth of El Dorado, and its curse.
