Area 51: The Grail, Book 5 - This one has a life of its own! The Holy Grail and the Ark of the Covenant are at the center of this book. And how they are found and what happens next is darn scary!

The Easter Island Guardian has taken over the US Navy, and anyone else who gets in the way. Kelly Reynolds is still with us, but barely. Lisa, Mike, Che Lu and Mualama have returned to Area 51 with Professor Nabinger's notebook (you remember him - he died in China in Book 2. Thank goodness Che Lu can read his translation of the high runes, and Mualama mysteriously produces a copy of Richard Francis Burton's final manuscript (now that was unexpected and well done!).

As usual, there are disguised Arlia, Watchers, Guides, Ones who Wait and Mission members all jockeying for position. In the meantime, Larry Kincaid is still watching whatever is being built on Mars - by who or why still remains to be seen.

When the secrets of the Sphinx are finally revealed, and the key is inserted, events are set in motion that dratically disturb the balance of power. The reader will be astonished by who is selected to receive the Grail.

The secret to this series of books is the way the author pulls together all the myths, legends and historical artifacts into one story line that leads us to the Arlia and Atlantis. Are we really alone? Has someone else been here before that we don't know about? Did they influence mankind in ways we could never comprehend? And what would we do - how would we react if, in fact, all this was true?

I am not going to tell you anything else - read the book!
