Synopsis: Max is going through a faze called Akino. He needs to make a connection to the collective of his people or he will die. The problem is that his people are on their home planet, and that is too far away to reach from earth. He needs the communication crystals from his ship, which is in the hands of Valenty and the government. Will they find the crystals in time? Review: The whole gang wants to help Max. If they are unable to help him then Michael and Isabel don't have a bright future either. They need to find the spaceship soon. But they have been looking for it all their lives. They have gotten a clue of the ships location from a recent adventure, and now are hoping to find the ‘chicken rock’ in the desert. It must be well-hidden there cause they have looked everywhere. But then again, where would the government hide an alien spaceship. Liz, Maria and Alex, the three humans in the group are just as worried as the others. They don't want to lose their friends. Liz has a crush on Max, which is well known in the group. But they are only friends. Alex and Isabel are forming a fresh love couple. Alex the comp nerd of the group with a good sense of humor is going out with the hottest chick in school. And Maria is having feelings for Michael but is afraid of what would happen if she lets Michael know about her feelings. Be warned, it’s a teenager book, with all the relationships, adventure a problems of the teenagers in it. This book has about the same amount of romance as it has adventure. And I’ve seen the series on TV; it will be mostly like that. Max, Michael and Isabel searching for there true identity, while acting as human as they can in Roswell. It is an easy to read, young adult book and the books are also available as Adobe files.
