Old Friends: Han Solo, Chewbacca, Leia Organa Solo, Jaina Solo, Anakin Solo, Jacen Solo, Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian, Mon Mothma, R2-D2, C3P0, Mara Jade, Admiral Ackbar Synopsis: The Trilogy takes place in, on and around Corellia, Han Solo's homeworld. Something is wrong there and a diplomatic mission, that is also a vacation, is planned by the Solo family. Before they leave, Han is approached by a member of the Republic Intelligence forces and warned of possible trouble, and everything goes steadily down hill from there. Review: Corellia is a beautiful palce. Coronet, the largest city and capital, used to have a very strong government, and was a center of entertainment, education and art. Not any more. There is serious unrest among the population. The 3 races that inhabit the system, Human, Selonian and the Drall, used to live in peace, respecting each others differences and living and working together. All that has changed. As soon as Han and his family arrive, problems start, and get worse. The streets are not calm, the city is in terrible shape, riots happen. The 5 Corellian worlds are on the edge of civil war. And someone from Han's past is not one of the good guys. Meanwhile, Lando Calrissian has decided that the only way to make money is to marry it. He talks Luke Skywalker into joining him on a search for the perfect rich wife. As they travel from planet to planet, accompanied by R2-D2 and C3P0 along for comic relief, they eventually arrive at Sacorria, part of the Corellian System. And there, they are drawn into the same troubles that Han and his family are involved in. Communications are jammed, an interdiction field is slowly overtaking the entire sector, noone can get in or out, Han has disappeared and Leia and the children are stuck on a world that could blow up in their faces with war, if they don't do something. I did not like this book at all. The only part that was interesting was the end. This is just one of those books that are so boring that you can sleep through it - it was really hard to get motivated to finish it. It also did not make much sense till the end. Therefore I gave it a rating of 1. Hopefully, Book 2 will be better.
