Synopsis: During the beginning of this book, the Rogues are at the Bilbringi shipyards fighting off Grand Admiral Thrawn. Soon after, the Rebellion defeats Thrawn and they celebrate their victory on Coruscant. The celebration party turns bittersweet quickly though....

Review: At the celebration party, a tragic accident occurs that kills Urlor Sette, one of Corran Horns' good friends. It appears that a device toxifies/poisons him. Soon after, it becomes known that Ysanne Isard, who Tycho Celchu supposedly killed 2 years ago, has returned from the dead.

She did this by talking through a hypercomm transmission to the Rogues while using a remote to control the flight of her shuttle. She also made another enemy for the Rebellion, in her own image. Isard made a clone of herself to handle some extra tasks during the Bacta War. Now, she is offering to be an ally of the New Republic, which is quite unusual.

She will help Wedge rescue captured Rebels from Delak Krennel's prison camp. This offer, of course, comes with a price. Before she will help Wedge, he must fight against her clone created two years ago. On top of that, Isard is certain to betray the New Republic. This puts Wedge in a very bad position - if he doesn't accept Isard's offer, the prisoners will die at the hands of Krennel. If he helps her, she will stab him in the back in the process. Read on to see what happens.

I thought this book was OK so i gave it a rating of 3. It seems that the best and most exciting parts of the book were in the beginning and the end. Those parts were well written.

New Rogue Squadron Members:

Lyrr Zatoq: She is a Quarren from Mon Calamari. Unfortunately, she is one of the books' casualties.
