Synopsis: This book starts off where the last one ended. THe first one sets up the plot and the story line and introduces us to some of the new characters and places in the Corellian System. It doesn't do a very good job of explaining until the end. This one is better.

Review: This book starts out with Han Solo stuck in a Corellian prison, being interrogated by his cousin, the cruel and tyrannical Thracken Sal-Solo. He has plans to turn Corellia over to the Empire and restore it to the fullpower and glory of its past. To thwart Thracken, Han is forced to team up with a Dracmus, a Selonian who was arrested because of her status as a ringleader in a plot against the Human League. Han and Dracmus must attempt a near suicidal escape to Selonia, one of the 5 planets in the Corellian Sector. There, they will warn Leia, Luke and Lando of his cousin's sinister plan. But, can Han trust Dracmus?

Meanwhile, Lando and Luke are forced off Sacorria during their quest for a suitable wife for Lando. They head back to Coruscant. On Corellia, the communications are still jammed and the interdiction field is still growing. At the rate it continues to expand, no one will be able to enter or leave the Corellian System at all. Han and Leia, the 3 kids and Chewie are all stuck there, but not together, which makes things even more difficult.

In an attempt to dicover what is really going on, Mon Mothma sends Luke (she is convinced he has talents he is not using), and Lando to Bakura for reinforcemnts. She wants them to ask Gaerial Captison if the New Republic can borrow the Bakuran Fleet to help stop the Corellian crisis. On top of that, The Human League is planning on blowing up another star if the New Republic doesn't meet their impossible demands. To do this, they say, they have created a planetary weapon called the Starbuster. It has also been discovered that Corellia has planetary repulors, and someone is trying to tamper with them. At the moment, millions of lives depend on the New Republic....and the odds are stacked high against them......

I thought this book was better than the last one. But some of the parts could have been shortened up. It kept me interested in what the outcome of the entire Trilogy would be, and how it was going to be accomplished. So I give this book a rating of "3".
