Old Friends: Luke Skywalker, Mara Jade, Han Solo, Leia Organa Solo, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, C-3P0, R2-D2, Kam Solusar, Tionne, CorranHorn, Mirax Terrik, Wedge Antilles, Iella Wessiri, Booster Terrik, Talon Karrde Synopsis: When Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade first met in "Heir to the Empire", Mara Jade wanted to fulfill the Emperor's last order, to kill Luke Skywalker. In "The Last Command", she did. But it was not the Luke Skywalker who blew up the Death Star - she killed his evil clone Luuke Skywalker. After this, their relationship just got better and better. In "Vision of the Future", Luke asks Mara to marry him. She agrees. The next year, their wedding takes place. That's what this comic is about. Review: While Luke and Mara are on a vacation to Garqi, Leia announces the wedding to the rest of the Galaxy. She is overwhelmed by questions. She pushes C-3P0 in front of the microphone, hoping that his babbling will make the reporters go away.It works at first, but his wild imagination turns the small wedding Luke and Mara had planned into one of the biggest weddings ever seen. Leia takes Mara shopping for a wedding dress. All the great designers in the Galaxy have made dresses they hope she will wear. But she doesn't like any of them. Not that strange, considering that the dresses are everything, even a black dress that, most of all, makes her look like Darth Vader in a bikini. On her way home, she accidentally finds the former assistant of one of the designers in an alley. She is a Twi'lek named Jari'Kyn. Luke and Mara decide to first, have a small Jedi ceremony, and then a larger public one. But there are people who do not like the idea that one of the Republic's greatest heroes, and the former Hand of Palpatine, are getting married. A gang of Imperials, lead by Moff Derran Takkar, plans to attack the public wedding. This is a great comic. It has a good story and the drawings are probably the best I've ever seen. If you like comics with lot's of action, then this may not be the one for you. But I do think there is something of interest for almost everyone in this comic. It is also an important part of the timeline.
