Old Friends: Boba Fett, Jabba the Hutt, Bib Fortuna New Faces: Ygabba, Etti, Gab’bora Hise, Durge, Gilramos Libkath Places: Mos Eisley Synopsis: Boba is going to Tatooine in Slave One. He has gathered all his father’s belongings after the Jedi killed him. His father has put all his notes and wisdom into a book for Boba. Boba now goes to Jabba to find wisdom, and a way to survive. He has landed, has just enough money to keep Slave in spacedock, and has no clue where to find Jabba. Review: Boba decides to keep his father’s helmet on, so not all will think that he is a kid. But it is hot on Tatooine, and Boba decides to take his helmet off. A young girl manages to grab it and runs off. Boba chases her and finally catches up in a hideout. The girl’s name is Ygabba, and she is one of the Master’s children. They follow his orders, and in return get some food. They are controlled by eye-like implants. Boba finds out that Tatooine is a hard and hot place. He has a hard time getting a place to live, and then he needs to run after his helmet. And then he needs to get an audience with the great Jabba, and somehow manage to survive all of it, and if any luck is left, get some money. This is a good young adult book, interesting to find out what happened with Boba right after the movie. It has a good story, with plenty of examples of how bad things are in Mos Eisley. And no, we didn’t find out all about it when Anakin was picked up by Qui-Gon. If you want to know who Boba Fett is, and how he became one of the best Bounty Hunters, then you simply have to read this book.
