Old Friends: Han Solo, Chewbacca, Bollux, Blue Max

New Faces: Fiolla, Spray, The Mor Glayyd, Gallandro, Zlarb, Sonnoid

Places: The Corporate Sector: Ammund, Bonadan, Roonadan, Kamar, Lur

Synopsis: The "deal" complete with Doc and Jessa, and broke again, Han and Chewie look for an easier way to make some credits. Taking on the job of shipping cargo, they get themselves into much more than he bargained for when the identity of their most current cargo is revealed (why are we not surprised?)

Review: On Kamar, an obscure world on the very edge of the Corporate Sector, Han and Chewie are again "stuck" after making another less than profitable cargo run. Leaving quickly and broke, they get a lead on another run that may make them an extra creditor two. Unfortunately, when they get to Lur and meet Zlarb, everything goes downhill and once again they are in trouble.

Managing to extricate themselves, Han decides to go on to Bonadan and complete the run, with a few small changes. Hooking up with an attractive (no surprises here as well) woman, Han and the rest of his crew, which now includes Bollux and Blue Max as well as Chewie, head back into the Corporate Sector. The continuation of the story is faster paced than the previous one, the plot line is better developed, and the characters have more depth.

There are more plot twists and turns here, and the supporting cast involved is not necessarily what they appear to be. In an unusual twist, Han seems to have developed some affection and respect for the two droids. This may surprise some readers as they are more used to his love/hate realtionship with C3P0 in the future. Nevertheless, this book is a much better effort on the part of the author, and brings the reader into the story with a little more intensity, realism and surprises. Adventure #2 is another one you can read in one afternoon/evening if you set your mind to it.
