Old Friends: Obi-wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker

New Faces: Wren Honoran, Floria, Dane, Teleq, Mol Arcasite, Hunti Pereg, Granta Omega

Places: Ragoon-6

Synopsis: Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker go to the planet Ragoon-6 for a Master Padawan training mission. It is supposed to close the bond between them, but Anakin would rather be on a real mission. He might be lucky and see his wish come true.

Review: Obi-Wan and Anakin are brought to the planet by an old Jedi named Wren. He has been in many of these exercises, where he brings the Master Padawan team to the surface and then hides on the planet. Leaving clues for the team to follow, and hopefully find him. Obi-Wan has done this exercise twice with his old master Qui-Gon. He looks forward to creating the same bond with Anakin as he had with his master.

Anakin has the lead on the search for Wren and Obi-Wan has to trust his Padawan that he learns from his own mistakes. It doesn’t take long till the roles are turned around, when they find Floria, who seem to be stranded on the planet. Obi-Wan decides to stop with the exercise and bring Floria to her ship that is waiting in orbit. All goes well till the Jedi find a sleeper bomb on their own ship and barely escape. And, they find out that a group of Bounty Hunters are after them.

Here you have a new young adult series telling you about Anakin’s apprenticeship with Obi-Wan Kenobi. And also how Obi-Wan learn to be a Master, to teach his student. The young and old Jedi wannabes are about to learn a lesson in this book about teamwork. More is shown about the role of a Master and Padawan, and their relation. It also shows us how Anakin learn about a few important things in life. One is about when to trust good-looking girls with tears in her eyes.
