Old Friends: Obi-wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, Mace Windu Synopsis: The Jedi Council has been asked to help save the Radnorens. Due to an industrial error, a toxic cloud is hanging over the city of Aubendo. People have been dying and scientists have not found out how the poison virus gas works. The planet's prevailing winds will make sure that the only other city on Radnor, Tacto, will also become infected in 3 days. Four Jedi teams must make sure that the evacuation of the plant will happen in a controlled way and that all of the Radnorens, healthy or ill, will leave the planet. Review: Anakin Skywalker is 13 years old and Obi-Wan Kenobi has taken him as his apprentice. Now we add a year and we see Anakin again, scavenging for parts in the lower levels of Coruscant outside the Jedi Temple. His hobby still is working on droids, and how else is an apprentice supposed to get some parts? Obi-Wan contacts Anakin wondering where he is. A fellow apprentice, Tru, tells Obi-wan that Anakin is with him and that they will return immediately. Obi-Wan warns Anakin about his nightly escapades, one never knows what plans the Council might have for them. They are ordered to go to the Council before dawn. The next day they find out that they are not the only Jedi team which will go on a missinn, three more teams have been ordered to the briefing. There has been an error in a technical plant which released a toxic cloud. The gasses are endangering the planet Radnor and it’s twin cities. There is nothing known about the virus, except that people are dying. The Jedi are sent to the planet with medicine and to oversee the preparations for the evacuation of all the people. The Senate has sent transport ships, which will arrive in three days. Anakin has had a few missions so far, but this is the first time that he will be working in such a large team. And here lies his first lesson - to work together and anticipate the moves of the others. In the academy they are all the same, no one is special so there isn’t a leader. On the planet the Padawans get separated from their masters. They all have their tasks set out for them, and they all worry about the other group. Here you have a new Young Adult Series telling you about Anakin’s apprenticeship with Obi-Wan Kenobi. And how Obi-Wan learns to be a Master, to teach his student.
