Review: This is a quick little (only 100 pages) ebook by Troy Denning that fills in a few blanks between Balance Point and Edge of Victory leading into Star by Star. Han and Leia's marriage had reached the breaking point following Chewbacca's death and Han's downward spiral into the booze and guilt and running away attitude. This story begins the reconcilliation and takes the reader back into the relationship that survived so many years of war and troubles. Troy Denning does an excellent job, in such a short story, of keeping the characters as we know them, and bringing them back to the Han and Leia we all love.

I especially liked the introduction storyline for the Barabels! Throughout the NJO series, I have found this group of slightly off center Jedi entertaining and interesting. Learning about how they were trained and came together as a group with Jedi Master Eelysa was something new.

Troy Denning has a knack of pulling together characters and events that the reader might have skipped over in previous books, and bringing them to the forefront of the readers attention. And he also adds little bits that hint at future events. Again, for a short story, there is alot of content here and well worth the $3.00 price.

Unfortunately, the ebook format can't be printed, and I really like to hold pages in my hands. I like to go back and reread specific chapters when a new book is released and the ebook isn't an easy medium when it is on the laptop, not the big comp. Maybe I am a bit too old fashioned, but I think this would have been a nice little addendum to any of the books this storyline falls between.

All in all, it is a good, quick read that adds to the whole NJO reading experience. You won't miss any earth shattering events if you don't read it, but it will enhance the series characters if you do!
